Seating Chart FAQ
How do we begin the design process?
A: Seating charts are designed with careful consultation with the client, and may borrow visual elements from the invitation, Save the Date, or other personal items. Fonts, colors, and other images are selected in advance of the design process. The design process can begin before you know the exact seating arrangements.

How do I send you my seating arrangements?
A: Seating arrangements can be printed in alphabetical order (by either first or last name) or by table. The best way to email your arrangements is in an Excel spreadsheet as you wish to have the names and tables listed, for example, Column A is Last, First or First Last, and Column B is the table number or name.

If you would like to use initials to give a visual separation between names, please indicate so.

How far in advance must I supply the seating arrangements?
A: We understand that your guest list isn't complete until the last minute. However, we do request two weeks or more from the final date you need to print to work on your seating chart.

What size are the seating charts?
A: Seating charts can be made at any size; the price is the same. It is recommended that you choose your printing source in advance in order to determine the optimal size for your needs and budget.

What paper should I print on? Where should I have the program printed?
A: Because Custom Printables delivers your seating chart in PDF format, your choices for paper and printing are endless. Zazzle and VistaPrint offer reasonable prices for poster-printing. Additionally, our PDFs can be printed at nearly any office supply store, such as Kinko's or Staples.

In what case would a seating chart be more than $60.00?
A: Seating charts requiring additional illustration by Custom Printables or extensive editing will have an increased cost for labor. All three of the charts shown below are $60.00. Artwork supplied by the client and that is at an appropriate resolution (see Fiona and Justin below) can be incorporated at no additional charge.
